He also serves as Vice President of Communications for the Ontario Recreational Canoeing Association, an organization that advocates for a more sustainable and respectful relationship with our environment, particularly our lakes and rivers.
Chris also has a background in public speaking and debate, and has had letters published by both The Globe and Mail and Harper's Magazine in Harper's Weekly. Academic credentials include a BA in Radio and Television Arts from Ryerson University and a French Immersion secondary graduation.
Chris has made a rewarding commitment to working with children in camping and outdoor education contexts, and sits on the board of directors of a summer residential camp. Outside of work, Chris enjoys writing and performing music, canoeing, and travel, including New Zealand, Europe, and the United Arab Emirates.
"I am proud of what we have accomplished so far," says Chris of the Green Party's work in Toronto Centre, "and I look forward with great enthusiasm and optimism to carrying this work forward as a Green Party candidate.
"The more people learn about the Green Party," he explains, "the more they're excited by our ideas and proud to vote for us. And Canadians desperately need political leadership that engages their pride and excitement."
